This week in Science, the children have been carrying out an experiment to determine which is the easiest way to lift a weight up on a lever. The children investigated which position of the fulcrum was best suited to lift the weight. They found out that when the fulcrum was closet to the weight it was a lot easier to lift the weight as there was more space to push down on the ruler (applying more effort force).
